it’s mad. i’m tired. arrgh. really. even though i’m only doing e backstage work, i’m really really tired. maybe it’s just cause i skipped lunch today. maybe… >< but sighs. i’m seriously tired.
did e make-up for some people today, with meng xue… sighs. pei shan and the other main make-up people weren’t around in class, so i had to help, and therefore, so sorry people. i have no idea how to do make-up for other people. only myself… it’s pretty awkward, when you’re doing it for other people, cause their skin quality and skin tone’s really different, so you don’t exactly know what to do with them. and since it’s drama make up, it has to be pretty dramatic, and that’s what i’m not too good at… so sorry crystal, for being made look like a possum! but you were a pretty cute one. hahas! really! especially with the pin! 😀 anyways, we did a pretty good job (that’s what i think) there, and we were e first sec 2 class to perform! yay! *cues applause* i don’t think that e singing was bad, even tho some people told lingwei so… so lingwei, don’t feel demoralised. emily too! we’re actually pretty good, and if ning hui decides to play piano accompaniment, i think everything will be perfect. i think e only thing that’s lacking is e emotions. (><) sighs. sing with more emotion!!! okays. i don’t think that’s easy. i mean, i got a hell load of ‘fun’ trying to sing like i’m panicking. it sucks.
but e actresses were really good. so don’t worry! and even if y’all go off tune or anything, i don’t think people will realise, cause it’s only y’all singing! don’t worry too much. just… sing in the shower. hahas! 😀 and maybe the school toilet tomorrow, although it might be a little too stinky for your liking. and you might risk suffocating in there. ><
anyways, we have loads of people to thank tho. our awesome script-writer turned… idk. assistant director turned lighting manager? crystal aka e possum who is just so… organised, and great at getting everything done really efficiently! and then there’s our director louise who has been cheering us on, directing us, guiding us and stuffs, how awesome! and she’s the one who encourages when we’re down. and then there’s our awesome sets turned stage manager yenjean! who’s really great organisation skills make moving sets in and our really efficient! and of course, there’s the cast, lingwei, emily, annie, bridget, chen xi, nanshan, joanne, xinhui, sarah… whose awesome acting (and for some, choreography) wowed many people (i know right. the dance in e second scene’s just awesome.) uhm… and there’s e make-up and costumes people (that i’m supposed to be part of, before i ‘transferred’ to sets), meng xue, pei shan, zhixin, joan, alicia… thanks to these people, the cast won’t have to appear on e stage nude. hahas! jkjk. and the sets people… lea, gen, miao, jean, yenjean, nicole… and finally, our scriptwriters and composers, who are kinda like, the backbone of e whole play, crystal, yenjean, cihui, ning hui, daniella…
sorry if i’ve missed out anyone, but you’re still loved. don’t worry!
oh goodness. i’ve just given a thank you speech, to e whole class. yay! 😀
213, mark my words, we’re gonna rock the house tomorrow, and we’re gonna make ms tay feel really proud of us-we might not win, even though we want to, and we’ll strive to, we know we’ve worked hard enough to, and even tho ms tay did make it pretty clear to us that she does want us to win, but i guess, even if we don’t, she’ll still be proud of the fact that we’ve tried, and we’ve bonded and learnt a lot through the whole experience. this is the final ‘project’ we have as a class, so we’re gonna do it really really well!
