it’s finally over. drama nite.
we did a really great job today!!! And we’re in the top 4! 😀 miss tay will be so… proud of us (she expects us to win, so jiayous!) we had such a great time doing e back stage props and stuffs, damn fun. and i wonder how did e “strippers” do. hahas! they had to get the cast changed really fast, and are therefore called e “strippers”, cause they had to strip e people down to e costume that they are already wearing inside. hahas. emu had one of her buttons done wrongly. thank goodness it was e bottom, so it wasn’t too bad. but yay! we got into the finals! almost there. you had no idea how it was for us to actually be called last. i mean, when they were announcing e results, it was like, 204, 211, 209… sighs. maybe we can’t get in… two one… oh. it’s 201. three!
wait. *screams!!!* it’s us?!??? did she say 213? ohmahgawd!!! screams! Screams!!!!! we were awesome! yaaaaaaaaaaaay!
odyssey of the mind. the auditions went okay-ish. they balance out to be okay-ish. the long term problem was fun. miss chan seemed to like it all. okays. she seems to like everything. she’s just… so nice! and so sweet! hahas! so we started off with the dance. and it was quite okay. i had a few stumbles, when i kinda forgot my move… >< sighs. but it was pretty okay. and janice (yay!!! i remember her name now) was so… awesome! she learnt the whole dance in like, 10 minutes! she’s really really good. okays. i didn’t get to watch her, cause she’s behind, but if she’s able to present it to the teachers, she’s really good. and fast. and miss chan had a pretty great laugh at our long-term problem (which isn’t that long term), it was like, halfway through e performance, she started laughing out loud (before that was just a few giggles here and there, and snickers from the seniors), and then idk why, she started laughing i forgot where, but it wasn’t really suppose to be that hilarious… and we were like… uh… for a while, and then oops. continue. hahas. sighs. she was farnee. i have no idea how we got to music and stuffs. and talents… uhm. oh. SYF. miss chan dropped e bomb on us. (i never knew) that OM was just a week before SYF. but i’m sure i’ll cope. i mean, i’m kinda familiar with hua mulan already. and i’ll just have to learn the other set piece. just worried about the sec ones… >< sighs. we need our sec ones. i mean, e seniors just have to make sure all our notes are accurate, emotions are easy (for me), and then polish it, but e sec ones have yet to finish playing e whole piece!!! hope they’ll cope. and yeah. i guess it’s fine. and then she started asking about idk… oh. instrus that we play. (erhu!!!! yaaaaay! i less than three xianyue.) and then asked for other instrus that we play. damn farnee. us: piano. ms chan: anything more.. portable? me: portable piano? annie: we learnt how to play e recorder. seniors: laughs and snickers.

oh, and then e talent thingy. had a great time thinking about materials to make one of my designs with. “we don’t have the budget for satin and organza, you know” hmm… I know exactly where to buy stuffs. for a really cheap price. and daddy’s got all e spandex we need. mwahahahahas! 😀 and recycled materials… trashbags/paper bags, anyone? oh. and pom poms.
and apparently, they said hula hoops don’t work. but they do. FC senior did it! 😀 i know right. people in FC can make practically anything, really. we should just have a collabo. and oh. i was thinking… hahas. toilet paper. and… dum. dum. dum. veggies. yes. i’m serious. veggies. it’s possible! anything’s possible on project runway! hahahahas! really. i think that’s just something that they don’t watch. according to clara tay, they watch glee. but really. project runway’s recycled materials episode’s always the best. all the weird materials come out. oh. and… hahahas. table cloths and rugs as well. and… stuffed toys as well! remove e stuffings! mwahahahas. i’m a stuffed toys killer. just like casanova. hahas. he’s damn hilarious.
and i have no idea why. miss chan suddenly popped a random question. i have no idea how it’s related. but, it was: are you a perfectionist?
the moment she said that, i was like. wth?!? please do take a look at my pigs sty room with books, clothes, bags, worksheets, random stuffs lying everywhere. then you’ll know whether i’m a perfectionist. but on the other hand, when i do want to do something really much, i’ll do it to my best. and will try to make it perfect. and that’s when i throw away i have no idea how many “rejects” before getting a perfect one. sighs. idk. i just told her i’m not much of a perfectionist. and that when i don’t do something well, i’ll try to touch up to cover up e mistakes, but i won’t redo it. which isn’t exactly true. (refer to above) sighs. and then she asked whether i’m open to suggestions, and i was like… duh?!? hahas. i am. i don’t push them away. but i’ll think about it before i do decide whether to change or not. and usually i’m kinda stubborn. but if i do want it done well, then scrap whatever i’m thinking. i’ll accept their opinion. new paper/canvas/cardboard/materials please…
but overall, e interview was pretty fun. oh. and they had to torture us… >< sighs. apparently one of e seniors. no. most of the seniors there were from problem 3, and they atually did wayang (aka chinese opera) then, for their performance earlier this year. and for the fun of it, they asked us to do it. and we took e line from ma li lian (aka marilyn monroe in chinese). o.m.g. it was damn epic. so sad, i cry. so sad, you cry. so sad, everybody cry cry cry cry cry… >< and the “panel” just had a great time laughing. bleah!!! and e one lone soul there who’s from prob 5 was like, “i’m disturbed (by these people)”
spont wasn’t that good though… >< ms may tan and ms regina lee… sighs. they were staring with a poker face (p-p-p-poker face p-p-poker face…) at us during verbal spont. now i know how people are like when they have botox, the inability to smile. sighs. except their wrinkles are still there. wait. don’t tell them i said that! i want to get into OM kays?!!! but yeah. they still didn’t smile at all. oh goodness. reminds me of posh spice. hahas!
but it was pretty good.
and then there was farewell with e sec 4s, and they loved xianyue’s performance. hahas! they were laughing loads at the “hope you get a boyfriend” part. and then after that, leevoon was like, “no!!! we won’t get a boyfriend anytime soon, so please don’t hope…” and i was like, you’re just speaking for yourself… hahahas! no, i didn’t say that.
and then after that, when we went back, annie and i met ms chan.
*shudders* but at least having her for OM was better than having ms tay. we peeped (from e window) into e room for her side, while waiting for spont, and she was stoning. hahas.
anyways, i’ve gotta go get my beauty sleep now. tata!
